The City of Oroville honored past president of the Oroville Initiative, Jeff Bunnell, on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024. Triangle Park on Main Street was renamed to Jeff Bunnell Park in appreciation of all that Jeff has done for the City of Oroville and the Oroville community. Mayor Ed Naillon made the dedication and a new sign was unveiled honoring Jeff. Rocky DeVon, Oroville Chamber of Commerce president, was also present and announced that Jeff had been named "Citizen of the Year" for 2024. Jeff, his wife Elia and many community members were present for the dedication.
