Oroville Student Reports
Oroville may not look like much at first glance, but don’t judge a book by its cover.
During the snowy season, you can walk down Main Street bundled up in a jacket and mittens and watch the snow fall. When the cold becomes too much, you can stop into Hometown Pizza and get a donut, or walk to one of the many amazing coffee shops such as Expressions and get a hot cup of coffee or tea. While you're there you can have good old-fashioned conversations with people. When the weather is warm, you can hang out at Veterans Park and swim in the lake or lounge on the beach with good company.
The best part about Oroville is you really get to know everyone around you, and you get to make connections with people that you wouldn’t be able to in the city. Our town has all of the classic small town things you’d want including a beautiful gazebo, amazing library, and an abundance of thrift stores. Oroville has the classic small town charm that everyone should be a part of at least once in their life.
