"The best part of owning a shop in a small town is seeing happy customers."

If you walk down Main Street and find yourself face to face with an incredibly charming storefront, you've found Second Chances. As soon as you walk in you'll find it's not like a regular thrift store, it looks like a high end boutique where a pair of jeans costs $200. But that's not the case. "Quality at an affordable price," is the owner Gillian's motto, and the store surely reflects that. Name brand jeans, high quality clothing for all occasions, and even the infamous dollar rack are just some of the gems here. One of the main gems; Gillian herself. After working at Nordstrom for years, Gillian made her dreams a reality by opening her own store and continuing the legacy of entrepreneurship that dates all the way back to her grandfather. The passion she has for her business really shows as soon as you walk in the door, and she's always happy to help you find certain items or give good fashion advice. If you ever find yourself wanting to shop, or just needing a self care day, head over to Second Chances and do some much needed retail therapy, your heart and your wallet will thank you.

To the right of the current location, 1404 Main Street, the building that was previously the Sweet Deal candy store is set to be the new home of Second Chances. This move will provide more space for all of the amazing and affordable clothing we know and love, and also more room for Gillian's creativity to shine. We've seen what has been done with just one small window, but with two large windows Main Street will be receiving some much needed sparkle. Gillian's main hope for this new space is to keep up the momentum that the shop has gained, and continue working with the community. "It really is a team effort," she said,"we're in this together."
